It's Friday night and our 2 week Spring Break is over. I have such mixed feelings. It was so nice having a break in the routine and getting to hang out with the boys all day. (but that also drove me crazy!) If I have to hear "Mom, I'm Bored!" from Joey ONE MORE TIME, I'm going to flip! I should have made him wash baseboards every time he said it - like a friend recommended.
We have managed to stay busy by bowling, bowling and more bowling. Games are 99 cents if you go early in the morning, which we did! I'm afraid there was never a consistent winner. Josh spanked us all one day. Joey did the next time. Jacob pulled off a couple of strikes and spares. The only thing consistent about the whole bowl-o-rama was my ability to throw gutter balls. I should have asked them to put up the bumpers for me!
We had big camping plans for Spring Break - but they just didn't come to pass. Instead we hung out with friends, took Oreo to the park, went swimming, went out to meet Aaron for lunch, and cleaned house. Sounds pretty exciting huh? The boys have been sad all day since they return to school this Monday. Sorry boys!! This 2 week spring break thing has definately got me thinking that I'd better get a good plan for summer!!
